This is a private tour hosted by archaeologist Perry Kyles, PhD. This event is not hosted by The Houston Museum of Natural Science. All parties interested in human origins and Ancient Egypt are welcomed to attend. Tour Houston's Hall of Ancient Egypt with Archaeologist Perry Kyles, PhD Learn about humanity's origins on the highlands of Ethiopia. See firsthand carvings, stele, mummies and other antiquities from Ancient Egyptian life and culture. Learn about Renenutet, who was the chantess (priestess) of the Cult of Amen. Also learn about Egyptian standards of beauty. See the coffins of the Ancient Egyptians and their Ptolemaic and Roman copies. Dr. Kyles will identify and describe selected artifacts that tell the story of humanity’s most influential civilization. Saturday, September 16, 2017, 10:00 am Early Bird Tickets $20 (20% off) - last day September 4, 2017 Regular Tickets $25 - Your ticket must be acquired via Eventbrite before at 8 am on the day of the tour. No tickets will be sold at the museum. We will gather at the tables in front of the McDonalds in the lobby. Dr. Kyles will distribute tickets at 10 am. The tour will begin promptly at 10:30 am. All tour members ages 3 and up must have ticket paid via Eventbrite.
